Were there explosions in Demon With a Glass Hand?
Looks like I have stuff to watch!
Regarding Dr. Who - Daleks and Cybermen are definitely robotic enough to be awesome. I don’t know what an Auton is but I’ll take your word for it. (I don’t watch the show much)
The recent movie Interstellar might count but I’ve blocked most of it out. It definitely had robots. (They were the only part of that crapfest I actually liked.) The time travel was based on time dilation. I’m not sure if that counts, but hey. I don’t remember if there are any explosions, but I do remember some destruction. Destruction is cool.
I don’t think I ever saw it. Did it really have robots? I’ll have to watch it.
Nope, it was a remarkably low-tech show (even for Outer Limits): maybe some guns, the hand, and people kind of wavered out and disintegrated when they died or got their tags removed.
Wow… no love for Returner? Our flyboys are useless!
Futurama’s “Bender’s Big Score” - Robots, Time Travel and Explosions galore…
ETA: Oops. Missed that Peter Morris already mentioned this. Sorry…
I think “Edge of Tomorrow” comes close:
- time travel. Check
- explosions. Check
- robots. Maybe the training simulator ?
Not a movie, but various Sonic the Hedgehog games involve all three. CD and Generations are the only good ones, though.
The training simulator was awfully cool…plus, the soldiers had powered armor…
I knew there was a reason I liked that movie.
The episode “School Reunion” features a robot causing an explosion. (K-9 is a good dog.)
