Rock bands with more than one lead singer...

Um, check the first post on this page, Norwegian death metal AND Jefferson Airplane. (Country too!)

NP: Therion - Of Darkness

OOOPS! Mea culpa, but somehow in adjusting my trifocals while chugging on a frosty Geritol, I missed them in your excellent list.
Nicely done, and my bad.

–chagrined Hometownboy, whose only slightly redeeming feature is that he currently lives in the hometown of one of Timothy B. Schmit’s cousins, who owns a large country-western clothing store in our little burg and TBS has been known to occaionally visit, though not to my personal knowledge

Uncle Tupelo - Jeff Tweedy/Jay Farrar.

Also for the Dead, their keybordists sang too. Brent Mydland & …wasn’t there another? Didn’t PigPen sing too? I won’t count Bruce Hornsby.

Uh… non-Canadians may not know this group but I believe Blue Rodeo uses two leads. And one (if not both) has also released a couple of solo albums.

Otherwise, the band that first came to mind was Styx (already mentioned).

What about Jefferson Airplane/ Jefferson Starship/ Starship/ Airplane whoever they are. Grace Slick sang most of what I remember, but I vaguely recall a male voice sometimes. (Or was that some thing that just happened in the 80s when they did “Sara”?)

Oh forget about my post! I had a “scrolling issue” with my computer and missed a ton of messages. Pretend it never happend!

As you were…

How about The Church? At first it was Steve Kilbey who did most all of the vocals, but as they went on, Marty Willson-Piper and Peter Koppes came to do songs every album.

And Squeeze had Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook.

Genesis

After Peter Gabriel left, they discovered that the drummer Phil collins can sing a little too.

Funny that, I was just going to ask if Genesis counted. I’d give them half a point - Collins didn’t sing lead until after Gabriel had left.

They Might Be Giants, perhaps? I’ve never really known about that one.

I was going to mention the Indigo Girls, but then saw it said rock band :o . Do they count as a rock band?
