I keep hoping that some collectible company like Hallmark would put out a line of models based on their castings. Collect them all!
Makes me wonder: howcum we never hear about female rock stars having this, um, “problem”? Aside from the occasional stalker, I’ve not heard much about male fans congregating outside of the hotel where a female rock star is staying, hoping to be invited up to her room for a tumble. Though I have heard of (and seen photos of) plenty of female fans congregating to catch a glimpse of female rock stars.
I guess the basic question is, why are women so much more predisposed to chase after somebody simply because he’s famous?
FWIW, I’ve heard some wild stories about The Go-Go’s when they toured in the 1980s… male fans, drugging, and drinking.
A friend in the biz tells similar tales about Chrissie Hynde.
Maybe that’s why their count with women wasn’t higher, right there! 
Friends of mine did a European tour a few years ago opening for Alanis Morrisette.
As an unknown opening act they still had girls wanting to party with them after shows. The singer is married, the rest of the guys all had girlfriends back home.
Now, they’re all big drinkers so they were always up for going out after the gig, and the girls who waited at the stage door to meet them would always go along for the late night drinking. These girls were shocked, and a bit insulted when their sexual advances were not welcomed.
One girl stayed with them once for the entire night, she knew that walking back to their hotel room her apartment was on the way, as they were walking she stopped and said, “O.K., so this is my place,” they said, “O.K. goodnight”, she said, “No, you don’t understand, we’re at my apartment,” they said, “great, it was nice meeting you.” She didn’t even care which one of them went up to her room with her, and she was outraged that not of them did.
Ah, I’d forgotten that. I was only thinking of the band as a whole.
Yeah, Naomi was/is bad news. Fortunately he’s marrying someone entirely different, probably this year.

There was an incident reported in Denver way back when about the them showing up at the uber-cool El Chapultepec jazz club with underage girls in tow:

I’ve seen quite a few U2 concerts, and the one thing I’ve always noticed is that Bono brings a young girl up on stage to sing to and dance with…and I’ve never once seen that young girl be helped back into the audience…he’s always whispered in their ear and they walk back stage…Things that make you go ‘Hmmm…’

hmmmm…I’ve seen several of their shows as well, but I always thought the gals just went back into the audience.
Heck, I was at a U2 concert where the girls he picked were standing directly in front of me, and at the end of the song, they were helped back into the audience, right where they started. There were rumours about Bono and some of the supermodels he was hanging around with in the early 90s, but there’s never been anything about groupies per se. In fact, there are mentions in U2 At the End of the World of Bono turning down offers of sex.
Ewwwww. Puts a whole new slant on “Fortunate Son”.

And I may be hideously wrong or brilliantly right here, but Frank Zappa? he always seemed a home-lovin’ guy.
And I can’t imagine Tom Waits’ name appearing in any Red-Schnapper related rock legends.

Apparently I’m the only one who doesn’t get it.
Yeah, I wouldn’t suspect him of sleeping around with groupies. However, after seeing the random photos in his latest CD’s booklet (Orphans), I wouldn’t think twice about him spending half of the night drinking, then taking photos of places where he pissed in public.
Because men are already predisposed to chase after them because they have a vagina? There just aren’t a lot of men who both consider themselves available (not committed to a relationship) and wouldn’t already want to sleep with them.
Yeah, I didn’t really think they never shagged groupies; but that story popped into my head, so I was fishing to see if anyone could confirm whether they did in fact indulge.
