They did exist in the 50s, and they looked nothing like that.
And rockabilly was far less popular as a music genre than rock and roll.

…and the actual 50’s versions of the characters didn’t look anywhere near that cool. The vast majority of Batman stuff published in the 50’s and 60’s was bland, boring pablum and the artwork and art direction rarely rose above the pedestrian. I say that, BTW, as a great fan of the character.
As for rockabilly’s level of popularity, it did exist and people did like it. Would you prefer a Pat Boone Batman? Oh, wait…that’s what we really had.
Great work. My only criticism is that I instantly imagined the Joker to be more like a freaky, outta-sight beatnik with shades, goatee and bongos.
Hence “re-imagines,” I think. And some of those characters existed in the '50s, sure, but Harley Quinn and Bane and Poison Ivy did not, and Mr. Freeze was introduced in 1959 and did not look that cool.
I don’t dig Bane’s look. The jacket doesn’t work with the wrestling tights.
The rest (particularly Batgirl) look awesome, though. (Although I think that might actually be what Catwoman wore at the time…it is very similar to one of her old costumes, anyway.)

RealityChuck - I am inclined to go with the other posters - no offense intended, but you are kinda missing the point.
I would love to see other “classic era” interpretations - from Victorian/Steampunk, through WW1/jazz age, to 40’s styles - and a 70’s Batman pantheon would be fun. Again, I know - Batman existed in the 70’s; heck the Neal Adams Batman is considered a definitive version - but the overall 70’s style/vibe wasn’t really “baked into” the look of Batman back then and would be fun to see…
