Hey all!!
A friend of mine just got us VIP tickets to Rocklahoma 2009 (7th row…man, I’m so psyched!!). I didnt go last year and I dont know much about the facilities and whatnot.
Did anyone on the forum go to Rocklahoma in 2008 and could give me some insights about the place and what I can expect when I go? We were thining about camping out there so we wouldnt have to go thru the hassle of driving back and forth from a hotel everynight…got any news about the camping?

I’ve never been so can’t really tell you much. I’m assuming you already have this link to the official site? It’s still way too early for much of anything specific about camping, parking, etc. but I’m guessing they’ll put more info up as time draws near.
I will tell you that it can get cold at night in Oklahome in October. Or not. I’ve gone trick-or-treating in shorts and winter coats (once at the same time). Be prepared for rain, but tornado season should be over. 
You don’t say where you’re coming from so I don’t know what you know or don’t. But people camp here (a lot), so it should be pretty easy to do. Pryor is in a beautiful part of the state.
When it gets closer, and if you still have questions, feel free to PM me and I’ll try to help. I know people who’ve lived around there (although not anymore) and can maybe be more specific.
If I could get in to see Triumph and Zebra, meet Lita Ford (I just read the articles) and get out, I might go, myself. There are a lot of really good local (Oklahoma) bands and if enough of them get booked I might go anyway.
