It was Glass for sure, but I don’t think it was Koyaanisqatsi.

If Philip Glass has done a video game soundtrack, it’ll be the coolest step up for game soundtracks since Nine Inch Nails teamed up with Id for Quake.

Or since Medeski, Martin and Wood, Pavement and Built To Spill did the soundtrack to Sonic and Knuckles.

Even currently Halo 3 has it beat, but that’s just currently. Tons of games have been hyped more than this one.

I think it’s the most hyped game. Why/how does Halo have it beat? You’re talking about a system-exclusive game that has a rabid but very specific core audience. The GTA series is cross-platform and has a far more widespread fanbase than Halo.
