Whilst rearranging some bookshelves, I found some books that I had bought, but hadn’t gotten around to reading. One was The Depths of Time by Roger MacBride Allen (who has written several Star Wars books).
It was a bit tough getting started, but once I got past the first couple of chapters, it wasn’t so bad. The main plot concerns terraforming and the tragic secret that threatens to doom all terraformed planets. The hero has to travel across space and time (time travel plays an important role in the story) to unravel the mystery.
I’m about 1/4 of the way into the second part, The Ocean of Years, but so far, so good.
Anybody else read this?
