Hmm…well, yeah, where roger is from, “earlier” might mean “ago”, as in “twelve years ago” = 1992, rather than “twelve years before Nixon’s re-election” = 1960.
Kennedy wasn’t in my lifetime, so I’m not going to the mat for him. But if roger he does mean Clinton, well then, he can bite me.
Considering he meant, I’m sure, 12 years later, you can either mock him or rebut him. Just saying is all.
