However, I will give mild props to RS for sticking D. Boon of the Minutemen on the list. Though frankly I’m not sure if even he would crack my own top 100 ( RS sticking him at #89 is realistic, as far that goes ), unlike Ginn he truly was a great punk guitarist and not an exceptionally well-known one.

That’s about all the props I’ll give RS, though. It truly is pretty weak list, overall.

As did Ry Cooder. One thing you have to say about Beefheart … he had some damned good musicians working behind him.
