Romney 2016?

It might be in accord with that article I posted upthread that suggested Romney was more interested in being courted. I don’t think that’s necessarily about a specific position.

Interesting in that Romney said that someone not very well known and just getting started would be the one with the best chance to win against the Democratic nominee. A subtle dig at Jeb?

WTH? He’s ahead in the polls. Good chance of winning. So, I’m out?

ok Mitt don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

Maybe, or maybe an excuse about why he isn’t running.

It’s a little disappointing not to have him and Jeb trying to take each other out.

I wonder how eagerly Romney’s endorsement will be courted by the other contenders? He seemed to take a swipe at Jeb: “I believe that one of our next generation of Republican leaders, one who may not be as well-known as I am today, one who has not yet taken their [sic] message across the country, one who is just getting started, may well emerge as being better able to defeat the Democrat nominee. In fact, I expect and hope that to be the case.”

Rumor has it that Ann Romney woke up with a horse’s head on the pillow next to her, courtesy of the Bush mafia.

Lucky for the country that’s the only victory he can have: a hypothetical one

Is that better or worse than waking up with the other end of the horse?

Hasn’t she done that since her wedding night?

So I’m figuring Mitt REALLY doesn’t like Jeb.

“In fact, I expect and hope that to be the case.”

That quote oozes Romneyness.

Too bad Romney’s not running. He had the potential to become a Republican William Jennings Bryan.

That’s an insult to Bryan.

I figured that’s the whole reason he was in the race, to take establishment votes and money from Jeb.

I expect he’ll endorse Christie.

You won’t have Mittens to kick around anymore!

Here’s CNN on Romney’s thought process in deciding not to run: http://www.cnn.com/2015/01/30/politics/romney-exit-ticktock/index.html

What’s really shocking is that there are a lot of people who like Romney and would want him to run again. The guy was laughably one of the worst candidates in modern history. He had all of the aloofness of John Kerry and none of the intelligence. He was an out of touch, heartless, say-anything-to-get-elected candidate if there ever was one. Even the Democratic bozos who ran in the 80’s for President were nice guys, or had good hearts, or whatever. Romney had no principals, no ideals, no drive to do anything other than to just “be president.”

Why he would be leading in any poll… I cannot fathom.

Did he have any headmasters or superintendents?

Romney had a history of competent management. Obama supporters have been oblivious about why that’s been a concern for voters in recent years.

Why does every thread in this forum seem to turn into the “adaher’s personal hatred for Obama” thread? Is this really all that motivates you? You don’t even seem interested in debating any more. You just want to leak out your vitriol.
