I think he’s a wishy-washy “whichever way the wind blows” kinda guy, but other than maybe Huntsman, the rest of the Republican crowd scares the crap out of me.
I would welcome any opportunity to not vote for the guy who has no clue how to fix the economy.
You think Romney or any of the GOP field know how to fix the economy?
If you’re voting for Romney because Obama’s bad at macroeconomics (stipulated), does that mean you think Romney won’t be worse, or that you think Romney has other good points?
…or that somehow the Dems will put up a better candidate in 2016 and win, against an incumbent in what the media insist is a center-right country, because Romney will manage to screw up the natural long-term recovery that badly?

Admittedly, I don’t quite know as much about Romney, but I guess I was, before he started opening his mouth and trying to pander to the same Crazy, more middle of the road. Perhaps I was mistaken. If so, then there is not a single Republican with any shot at the nomination that I will even remotely consider voting for.
Which is really sad considering, as I have posted on this board before; I have voted for Republicans for President five times, only twice for Democrats, and once for Neither.

The part of the economy that is missing is demand. Romney and the rest ,offer nothing to create demand. They actually offer programs that will slice it. That is an economic policy that will sink us like a rock.
Cutting wages, lowering the minimum wage, ending unemployment compensation, slicing welfare programs are policies that are not only cruel, but they will hurt the economy. The people who actually spend are having money with held from them. Then the idiots want to cut taxes for the wealthy who have has too many tax cuts to keep track of. What is there about another tax cut for the rich that will help the economy? They ass deep in money now. Corporations have have huge profits. Yet they do not hire because they don’t have customers who are not being served.
Does somebody think if we gave more money to corporations they would build a new factory, hire workers and then have them stand around with nothing to do?
