Romney's Tax Plan

Somebody posted this on my FB feed, and I haven’t seen it here. So there, for you people that wanted details:

The Romney Tax Plan

Mighty_Girl beat you to it.

It’s certainly funny, and it makes a good point, but… Isn’t it a trademark infringement? I’d hate to see the Romney campaign being able to sue the DNC.

Oh, and I’ve figured out how to click on the button. Nothing happens, except that it skitters away again after you do so.

Not really, the link was on the **The second presidential debate: 10/16/2012 **thread last night, but the thing is 22 pages now and I’m too tired to find it to feel clever.

Trademark parody.

Bloomberg gave an analysis of Romney’s tax plan before the debate. No the numbers don’t add up, no matter how you interpret them. Bloomberg - Are you a robot?

Romney added additional detail (contradictions?) later. He now says he wants to cap all deductions at 25,000. The Tax Policy Institute says that represents a tax hike of $103 billion. He also wants to cut tax rates by 20% - which of course would imply bigger outlays for those with higher incomes. That would cost $257 billion.

Normal people believe that 257 >> 103. Romney says that one will pay for the other. AFAIK, modern conservatives don’t care either way, which is unfortunate. Conservatives were more fiscally responsible before 1981.
