Ronald, if you take away my McRib I'm going to beat you until you bleed ketchup!

Hi, Adam! Nice to “see” you after all this time.

Tell you what. If you can convince the people at El Arroyo to open a new branch up here to replace the one we used to go to, I’ll get to work on the Sonny Bryant’s people.

If we don’t convince 'em, I’ll get some turkey sammiches with pork sauce, you pick me up a Federale platter, and we’ll meet in Waco for a prisoner exchange.

The one on Greenville is closed? When did that happen? I always thought they did good business there.

It’s been closed for a couple of years. The story I heard from the next people who opened a restaurant in the same spot (which is also now closed, more’s the pity) was that the owner of El Arroyo closed the place because his wife was either really sick with the cancer or perhaps in fact went ahead and died from it, and he just couldn’t keep the place going.

Now it’s some italian place. I haven’t tried it… too sad over the death of The Ditch.

Thanks for the thread title, a good laugh indeed.

Mmm…McGiraffe…

You should try stir-frying some veggies and then throwing in the noodles, flavor packet and water, covering and steaming for about three minutes. Great way to stretch plain old ramen into a full-fledged meal.

I believe it is metabolically impossible for people who like lobster to not love Abbots.

I haven’t eaten at McDonald’s in forever, but asking my husband I find that they haven’t had McRib around here (Baltimore) in a long time - years. I haven’t had a McRib in about 15 years, and HOLY COW do I want one right this very second.

Damn it.

This reminds me of an old computer rpg I had where the solution to defeating the game was to feed the dragon a mcrib. Absolutely pointless, but I thought I’d share it.

FWIW, never eaten one myself. I don’t think they’re a big menu item in Michigan.
