My Roomba always gets stuck half-way off the top stair. I thought it was just the way the sensors worked where it would stop but was unable to get back off the stairs. Does this mean mine just isn’t working right?
My roomba has the amusing habit of lighting the “dirt” light and taking off after one of the cats. I think it’s trying to remove the dirt at the source.
apricot, that is amusing. i do find the dirt detected light amusing on its own even without the added bonus of cat detecting.
i’m sorry red roomba has to go back to the mother ship. i hope you will have a new roomba recruit reporting for duty very soon.
Am I the only one not surprised that a redshirt Roomba would be killed so quickly?
Dunno, being a Roombaby at robot ownership. Have you called tech support to ask?

Dammit, Tuckerfan beat me to the punchline! 
ETF, I also had to do an In-Warranty exchange with iRobot (the gears went out in mine - terrible screeching !!). I just wanted to let you know that my new Roomba arrived today; only 6 working days after I talked to Customer Support. 
I have had mine for two years, and the weirdest thing Rod has ever done was lock himself in the bathroom and beat his head against the toilet.
And we let them give us driving directions…

Either that, or he ean over a piece of cat hornk, and was trying to throw up.
