I know there are Ross Thomas fans here. Any recommendations for similar authors? What I liked about Thomas was the politics and the writing and the plots, which were “human-sized,” that is, no martial arts genius scholar with personal access to the president as he tries to defuse an atomic bomb in the Vatican…(I’m looking for escape, after all, not my diary:cool:)
I love Ross Thomas, and he is fairly unique. Maybe it’s the name similarity, but after a few moments of thought I wondered if you would like Ross MacDonald’s Archer books, if you haven’t read them.
