ruckus.com distributes music online free of charge to any student with a .edu email address. They have a catalog of around 3,000,000 songs.
There are some annoying ads. And once you’re no longer a student, your songs will no longer play. And you can’t burn the tracks as encoded onto CD.
But I thought some people might be interested to know of the existence of this website. I like it. I do pandora.com, and when I hear something new that I like, I grab the album at ruckus. It’s like magic.
