The Amazon Crusader Kings Pack includes the original Crusader Kings as well as Crusader Kings II and ALL available DLC - Sword of Islam, Legacy of Rome, Sunset Invasion, The Republic, the Ruler Designer and the various song and portrait packs - all for $15. Ridiculously good value. The only downside is that you might get tired pasting each of the keys into Steam.
There are similar deals for other Paradox games like Victoria II and Hearts of Iron 3.
Greenmangaming is having a sale on telltale games and some others, and you can stack with 20% discount code GMG20-LLASD-D8WBQ. Walking Dead becomes $8, back to the future $5. Monkey island series $6. Also, Chivalry Medieval Warfare for around $7. Borderlands 2 for around $10.
Yeah, it’s most of all of telltale’s games are up there, and the current average is $4. I actually feel like these humble bundles are too much - they’re giving away too much for too little - but the fact that there are now like 900 different versions of them must mean that the people involved are happy. Still, give more than just barely over the average. Don’t be proud of how cheap you can be with cool indie devs and charity.
Admittedly they did say they’ve already taken in over $300K, but yeah, I’m pretty shocked at how cheap people are being with this one. (I get that some people are poor and desperate, but the Double Fine bundle just last week a had a much higher average payment when I saw it.)
Good Old Games is having a an Activision weekend. Half price on games like Arcanum, Interstate '76 Arsenal, Interstate '82, Zork, King’s Quest, Space Quest, Police Quest, Pharaoh & Cleopatra.
$1 for a bunch of games, plus a couple albums. $5 gets all the dollar games and music, plus another six games.
Yet another charity bundle. I liked Patrician III enough to play it a while. This bundle includes Patrician IV and a DLC, but I don’t have time for another game right now that’s not already on my buy list.
The 5 dollar option includes Bloodbowl, which I’ve seen mentioned here, Constant C, an indy puzzle game released in April, and Drakensang, a German tactical RPG with a 75 on Metacritic.
You know, the problem with looking for bargains is that you keep running across bargains you don’t really want.
Oh, and Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition is 50% off at Gamer’s Gate, which is as low as it’s ever been according to steamgamesales. I suspect anybody who wanted it here would’ve bought it by now, though.
Of course I just bought it last week, but Kerbal Space Program is on sale for 15 bucks on Steam.
It’s still in beta but it’s fully playable in sandbox mode. It’s a lot of fun, but a lot of failure. Somehow the failure is a lot of fun. It is, after all, rocket science. I stumbled upon this review last week and it convinced me to drop the 22 bucks on it. Considering all the other games I’ve bought that have sucked or I haven’t gotten around to playing yet, it’s already been a good buy for just the few hours I’ve goofed around with it.
