I’m 5’8", I weigh 170 Lbs and have a size 10 1/2 shoe. I was just wondering how fast I would have to run to run on water.

You would have to provide the exact area of the sole of your shoe assuming you ran totally flat-footed. If you pushed off mostly with the ball of your foot like we do on land then we wold need to know jst how much of your foot is in contact with the surface of the water. Additionally, it’s not foreward velocity that counts as much as how fast your feet push down into the water. The lizards that run on water could probably do so in place if they had a reason to.
44 in[sup]2[/sup] and 18 in[sup]2[/sup], respectively. Can you do it now?
