Its not possible that you know more than Assad about what is there or not in Syria. Saddam Hussein in December 2002 flat out denied that he had the WMD that Bush and Bkair said were there.
So there is precedent for rotten dictators to state the truth about not having WMD.
Saddam agreed to unconditional inspections while we maintained 2 no-fly zones and he was still caught with mobile equipment. He lied.
The Putin agreement carried no such conditions. Assad still has the capacity to make more weapons and he’s had a year to make arrangements for building other facilities.
You’re hero worship is based on your belief in the word of Assad.

You got anything after UNSC Res 1441 was passed in November 2002? I said Saddam was not lying in December 2002 when he said he had no WMD. Have you found any evidence that he was lying in 2003 which was my point.

No he basically said that Bush and Blair were liars. He had no WMD and he offered to have the CIA to come in and look for themselves.

Sorry no it doesn’t work that way. Saddam had a history of playing cat and mouse. He proved himself a liar over the years and just like Assad waged war against his own people. You don’t get to pick a time in history and declare him truthful when he had a history of lying.

Actually no. There is no hero worship here at all because there are tons of objective infomation that both Assad and Saddam Hussein are and were evil and despicable men holding onto power by undemocratic and ruthkess means.
But you are confusing establishing facts and proof with sentimental judgements about this matter of CW possession. It is apparent that you could care less about facts prior to our givernment taking action on potential CW action.
In 2003 the US president lied that had proof and the costs to our country were enormous and still haunt us today.

tons of CW. How much do you think he still has since you know so much about it.
Is Magiver that only holdout on this threat that will not give the Administration credit for something of a major security accomplishment by using the threat of force but not having to actually directly use that force. And now Obama has asked for $500 million to arm an train Syria’s moderate rebels now that the CW are removed 100% and by the deadline. Is that the correct move?
