Russian RPG Superhero--can't recall

Once upon a jillion years ago, in the 1980s, I happened to read a Superhero RPG suppliment, which included a WW2 Russian hero, who wore powered armor. It was based on the T-34 Tank.

I think it was Palladium, or Champions, but I cannot be certain.

Gamers :Anybody remember this?

In Champions Online there is a Soviet supervillain group called Red Winter. One of the characters is a giant tank-like cyborg called Red Dawn. He’s the big guy in this picture.

Since most of the NPCs in that game came from the tabletop books, I figure he might be from the original RPG. Does that ring a bell?

I dunno.
I was looking for the book ref.

Folks–not an on-line game.
paper & dice.

This rings a bell. Was the armor basically just the tank turret, with his head and shoulders sticking out the top hatch, and his legs sticking out the bottom?

Uncertain.

Probably champions, though.

I doubt it was Palladium. I played a lot of Heroes Unlimited, Ninjas and Superspies, and so on in the 80s/90s. (As well as TMNT, their fantasy game, Robotech, Rifts, you name it I probably have it in a box in my garage somewhere.) It doesn’t ring a bell at all for me.

Champions, I think I played that a couple of times tabletop. Most of my exposure to that game is via the MMORPG, which borrows from the original pen and paper, but isn’t the same, I understand that.
