So Sablicious caught my attention with this thread, http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?p=13959922#post13959922 in which he advocates that the United States should invade North Korea for humanitarian purposes. The remarkable ignorance he displayed regarding a variety of topics combined with his not so subtle anti-American insults led me to wonder if he always acted like such an idiot. I searched for threads started by him and wow, this guy is a little chicken shit. He’s started 13 threads, and 11 of them revolve around how he is afraid of China or Muslims. Most paradoxically, he constantly shits on Americans, but he also expects them to protect his ass from the Chinese and or the Muslims. Please, no one tell him that there are Chinese Muslims, or the poor flighty thing might have a heart attack. Anyone not think this guy is an idiot?
I’ve never had contact with him before, but in the linked OP he calls China one of America’s “strongest idealogical allies”. Kinda hard to take him seriously on geopolitical issues after that.
There are also undoubtedly American Muslims of Chinese descent, the trifecta.
Having re-read the thread, I think that I misread the sentence in question. In my defense, though, the sentence is so poorly constructed that it’s an easy mistake to make.

I first noticed him in his China’s got a carrier! scaremongering thread, which for me established him to be a complete buffoon; the very title of the OP is factually wrong, a better title would be China might finally be launching a carrier which began construction in the USSR in 1985 sometime in the fairly near future. I’ll take odds on how long it takes to fix all the problems that crop up during sea trials of the 1/4 century old hulk before it ever gets commissioned. Rather than back down from his erroneous position, he proceeded to make the absurd claim that China would have 4 carriers by 2015, 2 of them nuclear powered and 10 carriers by 2020. Oh, and go on about the odor of pee-pee.
Yes, I think he means that China and NoKo are close allies. Took a little parsing to get there, though.

When I saw that he has been around for two years, I just think, what the hell… he must be even dumber than his posts to have been here two years and still be so stupid.
Yeah, “miss” isn’t quite the right word.

ETA to be fair, there are also debates about whether Democrats or Republicans are better, and whether theists are stupid or deluded.

War for humanitarian purposes? Maybe he’s a “humanitarian” in the same sense that I’m a “vegetarian.”
To be fair, he seems to be saying that if the US is going to be the world’s policeman, it has to be the world’s policeman in North Korea otherwise the country is a hypocrite.
Which is kind of like saying that vegetarians are obligated to eat dirt, lichens, and rotten tomatoes otherwise they are hypocrites, too.
Yeah that was one of threads that made me want to pit him. Not only does he know nothing of military or political matters, he attempts to project his fears in bizarre ways. Everyone in that thread was dismissive of China’s POS attempt at a carrier fleet, yet he would not shut up about urine. It was annoying and bizarre, and implies hes not here to fight his ignorance, he’s here to push some absurd agenda about scaring the evil Americans into fighting the Chinese.
I know. I’ve taken to checking the join date of anyone I don’t recoqnize, and although I’m usually right about the newbie, it’s surprising when you see a *really *dumb-ass OP by someone who has been here for several years.
I wish he had a dumbass thread. He’s got 11 dumbass threads that are all exactly the same. China/Muslims are bad and scare me and America has to do something about it even though I don’t like “Yanks.” I suppose I can understand how someone from a nation that’s losing a war against bunny rabbits might be more susceptible to intimidation by the Sino-Islamists.
