This Google video made me laugh. It seems to be saying something about the “liberal media” by showing what ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX News were showing at the time of the execution.
None of the major networks broke coverage for the announcement, but Fox News, seeing as how it is a 24-hour “news” network, did.
In the eyes of whomever made this asinine video, that is proof of a liberal bias in the media.
Note, of course, that the video does not provide any information on what the regular (non-news) Fox network was showing at the time.

This is the leadup to the drop. It shows him being walked to the trapdoor, the noose is placed over his head. I think this is from the “official” hanging video.
It does not show the drop or him swinging after.
This may be the same video mentioned a few posts above. It shows him dropping, then it’s dark, then it shows him swinging (a close up view).

No. It can happen, and often does, but by no means is it a given. That being said, for deaths resulting from lack of oxygen such as hanging, two things tend to occur:
-
Sphincters relax (i.e. if there’s shit near the asshole, it may come up spontaneously)
-
The person “strains” - in other words, a person’s all-out effort to breath (especially when they can’t because of mechanical reasons such as hanging) causes them to ‘squeeze’ just as if they’re taking a normal dump.
Together, #1 and #2 make most hanging victims shit themselves.
