Sai Baba is dead

Unfortnately, I fear that his followers will continue believing in this fake.

Ashtayk, Anaamika is not entirely unknowledgeable about Indian culture. And neither am I. And I bet the two of us could round up a good number of Hindus who find the idea of cowdung ashes to be gross.

Never knew he was alive. I have never heard of him.

Sai-onara

Is this the Baba who had an ashram a couple of hours away from Rajneesh’s ashram in Pune? Or a different one? I think I might be getting a couple of books mixed up in my head. There was a Baba who had a sort of ‘chosen daughter’ picked out among the children of his followers, and she left when she grew up, and I read her book.

Sai Baba’s HQ is in Andhra. And from what I understand, it’s not daughters he chooses.

OK, different guy then. I had to reach back in memory and figure it out–I was mixing up Cartwheels in a Sari, about Sri Chimnoy, and All the Fishes come Home to Roost, about Meher Baba, neither of which is this Baba. It took me a while to sort it out. Sorry for the hijack.
