Salicylic acid, eyes

What would happen if I poured this bottle with a 15% solution of salicylic acid into my eyes?

Compound W is 14.2% salicylic.

You won’t have any warts on your eyes

I predict serious pain.

Don’t do that.

Acids denature proteins. Think cooked egg white, the degree of doneness dependent on the strength of the acid.

Salicylic acid at 15% strength should put you in the market for a Braille monitor to get your Straight Dope fix…

I don’t know about salicylic acid, but Never put salt in your eyes.

Ouch.

Medical advice is best suited to IMHO.

Re-iterating the mainstream medical consensus.

Seriously.

And putting the sun in the ocean is still a bad idea, too.

Also advisable not to shove beans up your nose.

It’s okay if a doctor does it, though.

Does this qualify as a new meaning to Willow Weep for Me?

Given that the OP has admitted trolling in that thread, I’m going to assume this question was more of the same. I’m closing this.
