I’ll have to try the pen. You can never have too much beige nail polish!

I’ve been using Sally Hanson Triple Strong Gel fortifier for a base & top coat. I’m crazy about it. My nails have never been this strong before. They only break if I manage to seriously abuse them.

While we’re on the subject of Sally Hansen–“Complete Salon Manicure” is the pits. It chipped immediately.

I’ve been using Diamond Strength–just two coats, no top or base–and it’s great. I like OPI or Essie if I’m doing base and top coat, but the Diamond Strength stays on better than those if I’m not using a base coat.
Insta-Dry isn’t bad, but I’m not sure it dries any faster than the Diamond Strength and it doesn’t come out as well.

I’ve not seen this - I use “her” regular base and top coat and the diamond strength when I do the whole manicure thing rather than the pen. The pen doesn’t seem to need a base or top coat and stays on pretty well. I’ll have to look for the gel base and top coat as my nails are pretty flimsy.
