Everyone tells me that I use too much salt on my food. But I am fairly comfortable with my daily sodium intake levels. Anyone else like salt?
I love it. I’ll put it on everything, even pre-salted potato chips.
And, I have very low blood pressure. My friends are all so jealous.
Well, it seems Montfort is the only person here with atleast some shred of desency. No one feels sorry for my failing post?
Funny, but when I was younger, I could never understand why people salted their food so much. Now I am the stereotypical salt-aholic. Salt goes well with just about anything…
I love salt!
I eat massive quantities of it on a variety of foods!
…if it weren’t for my high blood pressure, I’d be drinking soy sauce right outta the bottle…
I have a salt lick right in my backyard that I share with the deer that frequently stroll through. Yes, salt you are my friend.

A one-time supervisor of mine liked salt so much, she put salt on her ketchup, then dipped each french fry into the ketchup because, she claimed, if she salted the fries then dipped them, the salt would tend to fall off.
I tended to think of her as the M-113 creature, though she was, in fact much better looking.
I like salt & soy sauce…
Sometimes I sit & suck sea salt crystals. I’ll also eat seome salt if I get cramp as it is usually a lack of sodium or calcium that causes it (if the salt hasn’t worked, I’ll go get a glass of milk)
I guess I am in the majority then. I don’t like salt. I never salt my food, I buy unsalted saltines & pretzels. I have had the same can of morton salt in my kitchen for about 5 years. I guess I am the freak.
I too have been a huge fan of salt for as long as I can remember.
Incidentally, isn’t the prevailing medical opinion these days that salt doesn’t effect blood pressure anywhere near as much as we’ve been led to believe in the past?
Gatsby, I’ve read the same thing. Folks at my docs office have said that making sure you get enough potassium can be more important than eliminating salt. Mmmm, salty bananas.
