Sandwiches Without Meat or Cheese

Will you be pursuing a name change to just Artist now?

I don’t know, “Artist” alone lacks a certain oomph. And Super Healthy Butt Kicking Artist seems a tad braggadocios. I’ll have to think about it!

Like I said, find what works for you. Water makes jack shit a difference to me, but I’ve been a bit water drinker since I was kid. I really don’t think there is a single dietary rule that applies to all people.

Certainly no one thing works for everyone. But when something does work I think it’s worthwhile to make it known so others can try it to see if it works for them. I’m curious though about the amount of water you drink. According to the precepts of the diet I’m following, a person should drink at least half their body weight in ounces of water daily, and more if working out or playing sports. And they should drink all day long rather than a whole glass at a time every now and then. So again, I’m curious about how much water you drink and in what manner. I hope I don’t come across as challenging you on this, I’m just seeking information that could be helpful in discussing this with others.

Of course, try and see if it works for you. If you’re asking me, personally, I easily drink that amount of water throughout the day (and even through the night–most every night I wake up to have at least a pint, 16 ozes of water, sometimes twice.) I used to sleep with a liter of water next to me at night, as I tend to breathe through my mouth when I sleep and it gets really dry, and I’d finish it most nights.

Wow, that’s a lot indeed! Thanks.

My body just exudes water, though. I’m definitely atypical here. Back before I had kids and had the time to run, I would weigh myself before and after a run, I would lose up to 6 pounds in water weight in a long run (10 miles or so.) It’s not a mistake–I used to be religious about weighing myself to check, and I would re-weigh myself for both the initial and concluding weights to make sure they’re right. And it was fairly consistent, though a little less on more temperate days, of course. I would die right quick in a desert.

Wow, again I have to say that’s a lot. Still most people don’t realize how much moisture they lose during the day through perspiration, exhalation and urination, and considerably more when exercising. I know I didn’t prior to having recently read up on the need to stay hydrated.

I’m with you somewhat on the nighttime drinking thing also. I too sleep with my mouth open and wake up a couple times every night because my mouth gets dry. And I too keep a bottle of water on the nightstand. I just take a swig though, maybe an ounce or two.

From what I understand, the whole “needing to stay hydrated” thing is really overblown. I never paid that close attention, though, as I’ve always just drank what I felt my body needed, and that was typically around the levels recommended. For most people, though, it seems like those “drink X amount of cups a day of water” stuff is overblown.

I would use Pita bread to made a sandwich , I would only used half of the bread and that has 82.5 calories I would add lettuce, tomato and use avocado instead of mayo and add a little cheese . This was filling to me. I brought the whole wheat pita bread .

Not only that but it’s monotonous and tiresome and then it becomes a chore. I can only drink the recommended amount by swigging it throughout the day.

Both v words are for ideologies. If you’re doing it for health or just personal tastes reasons, no need to restrict yourself with their rules, do whatever you like.

I don’t know how you could do it. Even if it made my stomach forever uncomfortable, I cannot give up cheese.

If I’m buying, it’s a salad roll: lettuce, tomato, onion, beetroot cucumber (salt, pepper). The bread is the basis of the meal.

If I’m making it myself, that’s too much work. PB and sauerkraut (or peppers or alfalfa) or Avacado (and PB or saurkraut or peppers or alfalfa). The PB or Avacado provide the calories.
