Santa delivers a present to the "fake pimp" O'keefe.

Well, not the Santa, but O’keefe just found a being that he also could had thought that it never existed:

A conservative with ethics in his own media organization:

That ethical behavior deserves commendations, No?

Uh, not in Right wing world it seems, somehow I think the career of this O’keefe bozo will continue while Santa will be eventually dismissed.

[Reposting what I said in the original Acorn pimp thread]

The stupidity of this plan is mind boggling. Did he really think he was going to be able to seduce her? I don’t know what’s more obnoxious, O’Keefe’s fantastically delusional arrogance in thinking he could get the time of day from this reporter, much less “seduce” her, or the staggering misogyny inherent in his words. She’s an award winning journalist. What makes her a “bubble headed bleach blonde” (and if he really has a problem with those, has he ever seen Fox News)?

And his entire justification for the stunt was based on a completely baseless allegation that CNN was out to get him somehow, that “I know what their angle is: they want to portray me and my friends as crazies, as non-journalists, as unprofessional and likely as homophobes, racists or bigots of some sort…” First of all, he’s already done a great job of portraying himself as all those things (let’s not forget about the white supremacist rally he helped organize and where he was photographed manning a table of neo-nazi literature), and second of all, he had no basis at all for deciding that CNN was going to be unfair or inaccurate about him. Frankly, I think he’s lucky his own confederate tipped off the CNN reporter about what he was planning to try because he was setting himself up for potential sexual assault charges. What a fucking slimeball this kid is. Just a diseased, mentally ill, little worm. it’s only a matter of time before he lands himself in jail again.

I’m stymied. Even assuming for a moment that he could have been successful, what would have been the point? What would he have been exposing, apart from himself? Was it the idea that she as a reporter would have been unethical for having sex with someone involved in a story that she was reporting on?

I mean, sure, that’s not ethical, but I don’t think people in the public at large would be terribly surprised or troubled by it. Maybe if it were Katie Couric or someone of that stature, but I’m just not seeing it.

It kind of sounds more like some juvenile’s idea of a plan to get someone to have sex with him.

Or before he “punks” the wrong person and finds his #2 pencil neck broken in five places. Which would be terrible and a tragedy, because violence is always wrong.

A couple of the user comments to the CNN article are actually pretty funny…

And I just realized I forgot the link, here it is:

The idea was to make her uncomfortable with a clumsy fake seduction attempt and leaving sex toys and stuff lying around, record the whole thing, and pass it around on the internet to “get back” at CNN for having the nerve to give his people an hour of nationwide exposure. He’s basically doing what the Daily Show would do if TDS were moronic, unfunny, and hyperpartisan. It’s not as bad as the ACORN thing but this guy has proved he’s a dipshit and a one-trick pony. He must be pretty desperate if he’s moved from targeting political groups and politicians to going after a reporter who was already covering him.

And yes, Izzy Santa (who is a woman, judging by the story) did the right thing. Not all conservatives need to be assholes like O’Keefe.

His plan was to edit the footage to make Boudreau look like a puppy-raping terrorist.

I credit the name – Izzy Santa. Sounds like Christmas at Slash’s house.

Anybody know how Fox is playing this? It should be good.

CNN Out To Smear A Hero?

Hero Activist Cock-blocked by RINO Hosebag

I don’t see how that would have made her look bad, though. It would have just made him look like a sleaze. What could he have imagined it would have proven about her? Chances are, she would never would have even gotten on the boat with him, but even if she did, she would have told him to fuck off and walked away the second she saw the sex toys and shit. I got the impression he was deluded enough to think he was actually going to be able to get somewhere with her.

I don’t think it would have proved anything. He was out to embarrass her (apparently for covering that music video shoot when he didn’t want her to), that’s all. The story makes it clear he was not actually trying to seduce her, since his own unused video script says “I’m going to punk CNN.”

Although this is the first time I’ve ever gone to Foxnews’ website deliberately, I can’t find a single mention of this latest O’Keefe thing.

I did a search for “James O’Keefe” and the only thing that came up was the ACORN smear job video.

Seduce?

Right - The idea apparently was to do an over-the-top “Laideez Man” schtick that would lead to footage of her getting angry or at least flustered and walking away, so he could then lay down some sort of moral equivalence to the effect that HER journalism is not serious either but just a set-up to make conservatives feel uncomfortable/look bad, so it’s fair payback to put one of “them” in an awkward situation, and BTW if she can’t take the heat she should stay out of the kitchen, silly girl.

The objective was apparently to derail the story she was doing about them(*) by turning it into a story about her running away from an awkward moment, with a bonus opportunity to go ha, ha, ha, them PC liberals so full of themselves can dish it out but can’t take it, get all so freaked out over a crude joke, us real down-to-earth 'murkins can just brush off a crude joke and be good sports about it…

(*that goal may have been achieved anyway!)

In the leaked planning e-mails there were apparently a lot of references to focusing on a message that she got her job primarily as eye candy (“the bleached-blond bubblehead who comes on at five”) and that CNN deliberately assigned an attractive young female reporter to the story so as to make him lower his guard (oh how fiendishly clever!). All right, dude, we’ll send Mike Wallace then instead, will that make you happy?

Pff, they screwed up the lyrics.

The bubbleheaded bleached-blonde comes on at 5
She can tell you 'bout the plane crash with a gleam in her eye
It’s interesting when people die
Give us dirty laundry

And it’s not like O’Keefe’s patron Fox News ever hires people with more looks than skill, no sir.

That was his word. “I’m going to seduce her.” That was his big plan. The farce is strong in this one.

Is Gretchen Carlson more attractive than skilled, or more skilled than attractive?

…That’s not a rhetorical question, I’m really stumped.

They must be in league with MSNBC, because it’s not on their web site either.
