So I bought a bonsai tree that’s pretty cool last summer at an estate sale and it has been thriving outside. When I first got it I put it in a window with sun and gave it only bottled water but the leaves started falling off and I feared that I was going to kill yet another plant so outside it went. Well it’s starting to frost and I am not sure what is best to do. Should I leave it outside and let it go dormant over the winter like a regular tree, take to the garage where it doesn’t freeze and let it go dormant there or try again to get it to live in the house? It’s about 1 and a 1/2 feet tall and almost 2 feet long with about 5 trunk/branches wrapped around each other. It only cost me $20, but that’s not the point; it’s alive and I have had no luck with plants other than these.
