Savenger Hunt 2

1 If you go to Atlantis and have a Trial by Fire, you’ll meet Anderson K. Wellerman. Well, back in 1911 he was planning an expedition to these highlands.
2. In the budget GW sent to congress he informs us that a budget is much more then something… what?
3. Lore Fitzgerald Sjöberg gives only one of the Fisher-Price little people an A…who?
4) The CIA says that this percentage of the people of Wallis and Futuna are Roman Catholic.
5) In the ‘old boss’ letter of Jack the Ripper who had the ‘mikerscope and scalpul’? The good people of the PRO at Kew were good enough to post a scan of this letter. On this one his spelling rules.

7) Who played Commander Cody in “Radar Men from the Moon?”

10) Hmm, 2 Dubya hunts in the same post…hmm…Anyway if George wants to visit his nearest authorized Mazda dealership where would he go? Name of the dealership and where it’s located.

Hope you all enjoy it!

brother rat, I am in awe of your ability to find the arcane.

My efforts so far:

  1. My guess: Machu Picchu. 'Though this was discovered by Hiram Bibghan in 1911. I don’t know who Wellerman is.

  2. Working on this.

  3. Pass. Who the heck is …?

  4. 100% RC

  5. “The devle.”

  6. “Bece-hamtun”, meaning, Farm of the stream dwellers.

  7. George Wallace.

  8. Texas Instruments

um, semi-quote.

  1. My guess: Machu Picchu. 'Though this was discovered by Hiram Bibghan in 1911. I don’t know who Wellerman is.
Um… Not even close. Think Atlantis.

  2. Working on this.

  3. Pass. Who the heck is …?
A while ago there was a thread on the best sites on the web and Lore had one of them

  4. 100% RC
    yup

  5. “The devle.”
    wasn’t that cool?

  6. “Bece-hamtun”, meaning, Farm of the stream dwellers.
    nods

  7. George Wallace.
    so bad it’s good

  8. Texas Instruments
man I loved that game. And the system was tough. My sister spilt a whole glass of water on our poor TI-99 and it wasn’t hurt at all.

  9. 5?
yup, I loved that little site before I played out all the games

10 Working on this.

Oh, and yup I love Latin. And from some of the threads on this post board it seems lots of people do too. Over this summer I think I may try and tackle Arabic. Yeah French is thelanguage of love (although I feel lust is more appropriate) but it is so cliche. I think a little soft Arabic in the ear may be the way to go.

There’s a Mazda South in Austin, TX. Is that part of the answer to question 10 (asks Ice wolf desperately)?

I give up on the budget question.

Maybe more later.

And hey – isn’t anyone else going to be part of this? What are the rest of ya – wussies?

If no one else responds, brother rat, do please put me out of my misery about the questions without correct answers. Send me an e-mail to let me know when you do. You are one smart cookie, sir!

Oh, stars, you’re taking on Arabic, too? Far out! I’ll know who to contact if I need to know about Latin and Arabic, then. You are just too cool!

  1. The Upset Freckled Boy Child

  1. “A budget is much more than a collection of numbers. A budget is a reflection of a nation’s priorities, needs, and promise. With this budget I am confident that we can make a great Nation even better. In the midst of this budget’s heft and detail, there is a vision for a better and more prosperous America.”
    —President George W. Bush

I admit defeat. Can’t find number one; let us know.

you got them LoverBoy.

But the first one. Well. Atlantis refers to the new disney movie coming out this summer. If you go to their website at the Disney place you can click on a button called “Trial by Fire” and read a little about the prehistory for the movie. Anderson went to the Gobi highlands. Cool site, check it out.
