Saving files in Kindle Cloud reader

I use my Kindle for reading my ebooks, but sometimes use my tablet with the Kindle reading app. I like the fact that I can pick up either and it will remember my place.

But I’d like to use the Cloud reader, too. One problem is that many of the things I read I don’t get from Amazon.* When someone emails me a file, I know how to get them onto my devices via email.

But the won’t show up in the card reader. I’ve been going through the instructions, but there’s no information about how to take something you haven’t bought from Amazon and put it into the cloud reader. Some things talk about it, but it’s only able send it to my kindle.

Is there a way to do it? Or am I stuck?
*It’s legal. They’re usually either review copies or books sent to me by my friends.

Amazon Cloud reader does not support personal documents.

If you want to read a personal document on a Mac or PC, download the app for that. Then you can synchronize your personal documents. You’ll find links to download here:

No help. It only takes files from Amazon. When I take the collections from my Kindle, it ignores anything not in the cloud, which is where I started. It also doesn’t seem to allow you to just upload a file into it.

It also doesn’t give me an email address to send to.

Spoke too soon. I got it to work.
