Not really. Somebody in a financial magazine once pointed out that Trump would have more money if he had just taken all of the money he was given by his parents and put it in a standard index fund.
That was a long time ago. Today the temper tanTrump has found lots of ways and willing helpers to fail in a really lucrative way. I bet he is richer than ever, at long last.
Well, at long last… I guess he is just starting. I’ll never understand why billionaires (assuming he is one) can never get enough.
I was responding to the claim that Trump was a successful businessman. Now that he’s a politician, he probably has a good income. That’s easy to do when you’re selling something that doesn’t belong to you and don’t have to worry about the legal consequences.
Well, he is now saying he’s going to finally pardon Pete Rose…

I’m not sure that he does. Trump exhibits a lot of confidence. This is sometimes not the same thing.
WHY is anybody trying to say anything good about him? Every day he does something more horrific than the day before.

Yes, many are posting wonderful humorous responses which point out his odiousness, such as “Speak only good of the dead. Donald is dead. Good.”
But some others are clearly trying to find something decent to say about him. Just DON’T. If you (the general “you”, not you, Elendil_s_Heir,) think there’s anything decent in him to compliment, well, there’s nothing left to say, is there?
ETA: sorry, after just having read about how he kneecapped Jack Smith’s legal defense law firm so that they can no longer defend him, plus the whole Ukraine outrage, I just can’t understand the point of this thread.
