OK, I screwed up. Sent the wrong receipt. Got an email to that effect. Hopefully I saved it, sent a new receipt and explained I was dealing with a huge inheritance in the UK and and accidentally sent the wrong receipt.

Likely since WU didn’t issue that slip in the first place.

To summarize the last 8 hours or so, a number of emails went back and forth, him claiming that WU doesn’t do scans for pickup, me claiming that WU wouldn’t move to scannable codes without equipping all their pickup locations to read codes. Apparently, they went back a second time and got turned down. Now he’s pissed, called me a liar for sending the scan code, i call him stupid for thinking I would believe him when my WU account showed it was picked up and asking why he’s so pissed when he has a $2.8 million ATM card AND my $570. He sent several identical emails demanding I send the correct information.
I guess he thinks I believe there’s a real card and I’m trying to steal it rather than believe that I’ve been playing him all along. We’ll see what morning brings.
