You guys like to scare people then check out the scare tactics thread in the cafe society chat. So many people are so angry at this show it is funny to read their comments.
That’s because there is a huge difference between startling a buddy --“boo!”-- in the course of good-natured fun and maliciously terrifying someone on national TV and publicly humiliating them in the process.
Showing abject disgust for “Scare Tactics” is quite legit.
Well I take a certain perverse joy in pranks and scaring my co-workers so when April Fool’s Day rolled around I couldn’t resist the urge to get my boss (who is also a notorious prankster)
He just got a new laptop and had asked me to run some software installs for him then left for a good part of the day. In the process of installing the software he needed I took the liberty of adding a screensaver that made a pretty convincing impression of the Blue-Screen of Death. Not the one you usually see though, mind you, but the one with the memory dump that basically means your system is screwed (an will give any IT person a near stroke). I set it to activate if the machine was idle for 2 mins and gave it to him. As is his habit he turned it on, let it go and got on the phone. The look on his face when he turned back to it was absolutely priceless
