I would expect them to feature in some. Particularly in movies where the main character is Asian
Edit :let’s flip it though. White folk are 63%of the population. And that probably includes people who don’t consider themselves white. Do you think that 4 out of 10 movies star non white characters being played by non whites?
Most of the people you list aren’t anywhere near 250 pounds, but that’s besides the point. The point is that Hollywood commonly diverges from fictional characters’ physical attributes when casting. It’s not indicative of anything beyond the actual physical characteristics of the actor not mattering in most cases. They’re actors. The entire point of their profession is the ability to portray people they aren’t.
They do feature in some. But the broader point is, no, there’s no reason to expect Hollywood to reflect the racial make up of the US. Race is strongly correlated with culture, and different cultures value different professions differently. To use Asians as an example. 75% of Asian adults are immigrants and 50% of those self report as not speaking English well. These immigrants often exert enormous pressure to succeed academically and enter into a well paying white color profession on their children. From what I know of Asian culture in America, it should be expected that Asians are underrepresented in Hollywood.
I don’t think there’s any culture that encourages children to ignore well-paying white collar careers in favor of the performing arts. Yet somehow Hollywood manages to find people to fill their movies and TV shows with, and when they want Asian actors they don’t seem to have any trouble getting them.
