OK, now I’m curious what that was a typo for.
Presumably freaky

When I was 3 years old, my older brother used to terrorize me by making his Marx Bop A Bear come directly toward me, repeatedly (he accomplished this by shooting the toy at the correct angle).

Update: I haven’t seen it, but I have watched episode 3, about dangerous or useless medical treatments, and let’s just say that I never thought I would hear Fonzie talk about coffee enemas.
Skee-ball was the best! I loved it and often won a small toy or other trinket. While the toys weren’t scary, some of the characters who ran the games were scary. Of course, my 10-year-old-self saw those colourful career carnies as a force to reckoned with!
When Pluto the spaniel was a puppy, he was given a small stuffed giraffe toy that was motion-activated to play soft classical music tunes - Mozart and Baroque stuff mostly. He developed a dislike/fear of that toy. Once the music started he’d begin to whine, eventually engaging in full-scale howls, nose pointed at the ceiling.
He has the same reaction to hearing the theme music from Law & Order. Very limited musical tastes.
Was it this one?
We have a ‘Zombie of Montclaire’. We call him ‘Monty’. My sister gave it to me from Design Toscano. It’s a 404 now. Amazon says it’s ‘Currently unavailable’.
Ooo. That one looks much more lifelike.
Oh, that was wonderful.
