Schwarzenegger: How much smaller compared to his bodybuilding days?

I’m no bodybuilder (or even a weightlifter), but it seems like Arnold Schwarzenegger has lost quite a bit of muscle compared to his glory days in the 1980s. Not only is he in his mid-50s, but no one, I suppose, can stay bulked up and in prime condition that long–especially when some of the mass is due to steroids.

How much smaller/lighter is he since his peak?

Observation: Did I imagine it, or did Ahnold have a rather odd gait as he strode across the stage on the Leno show last night?

He is quite a bit smaller. I know that in the late 70’s and early 80’s he would work out for up to 6 hours a day in three hour shifts. He doesn’t do that anymore. I would guess that he works out maybe two hours a day. He did say that when he was doing T3 he worked out a lot more, as he wanted to look like he did in the first two movies.

I betcha his kidneys have gotten a lot smaller over the years…

Thanks for killing my thread. I’m looking for a serious answer and you respond by violating Board rules. What’s your problem?

Well, perhaps the mods will be kind and simply undo the link,
