Hi guys,
I’ve been stuck in a hospital for a couple of weeks because of a skydiving accident and I was starting to get bored when someone over at reddit linked a short story by Asimov here that I had somehow missed. I also ended up reading “and then there were none” on the same site which was also enjoyable.
Now I’m hungry for more and I was wondering if you guys know of other websites that offer more short stories (I’ve already read “up and down in the magic kingdom”).

Seconded. How about a “Ask the Guy” thread.
It’s not a very interesting story. It was my first day and my second jump. The first one had gone well. The second time around, the one-way radio the ground crew used to guide us newbies got stuck to my sweaty chest and the sound was muffled and incomprehensible
I was looking at the ground and when I estimated I was less than 10 feet from the ground, I started applying the brakes. It turned out that I had miscalculated and I was a few feet higher than that so I ended up landing at an angle on my right foot.
Next thing I knew, my foot was dangling at a 90 degree angle from where it should’ve been and I was later told that I had shattered my ankle and broken my tibia for good measure 
I should be able to walk within a year or so, assuming the physical therapy goes well.
Jeez, that sucks. Sorry, hope you have a quick recovery.
The Tor website publishes a few SF stories. Strange Horizons has a new story roughly once a week. Revolution SF will publish a short story every now and again.
Though they don’t do stories, Tales of Future Past and Paleo-Future are a couple of time-sinks full of science-fictional goodness.

There’s a lot of stuff on Project Gutenburg, including most of the H. Beam Piper stuff that isn’t part of the Paratime/Gunpowder God or Little Fuzzy universe series.

I’ve had a few hospital stays myself. Most of the nurses and orderlies who were involved in my care were indeed awesome. There were a couple of bad ones, though, who are memorable.
Little Brother. And you might want to check out some of the classics on Project Gutenberg, including Stapledon’s Last and First Men.
Piper’s “Lone Star Planet” is a quick read and it’s funny, too.
You could try some true classic SF, like the stories of H.G. Wells. The Short Stories of H. G. Wells, ebook, etext “Tales of Space and Time” has some good stories. “The Man Who Could Work Miracles” is a classic. Less SF-type but still good stories are in “The Stolen Bacillus And Other Stories.” “The Flowering of the Strange Orchid” is a good one.
