Interesting idea. I’ve never seen it done before. The giraffe impressed me the most.
I liked the little guy pulling down the sign. Those are too cool!
So how were these done? I can’t see how tape alone (especially in thicknesses that would still be transparent) could be strong enough for the larger pieces, but I also don’t see any internal supports. And how would they stand up to a good wind?
They’re essentially solid plastic sculptures by the time they’re completed. It seems plausible they could support themselves.
Now the question is, what’s the coolest thing you can sculpt this way?
