A group of us from the office will be doing this cruise from Portsmouth to Yarmouth and back. You don’t even stay there for more than an hour. It’s basically just a booze/gambling/no sleeping event. Anyone ever done it and What may we expect?

Are you sure there is no sleeping? We went on a ferry from Bar Harbor to Yardmouth which had cabins for rent. They didn’t really advertise this fact, but they had them. I would check to make sure there aren’t cabins for rent.
i was on the portland-halifax trip and we did get a cabin. you paid extra but well worth it. it is a chilly trip. watch out for the lion mascot.
