It wouldn’t surprise me if Shodan’s “defense” of the quote was simply to attack and insult those doing the questioning. It’s hardly a unique pattern around here when people get called on falsehoods.

He likes to put forth this idea that he is fair and the ultimate in logical, impartial debaters, yet in this thread he has used a hypothetical which has as its basis that Anita Hill is a lying bitch, and that the rape of an underage girl is comparable to a guy being justly dinged for sexual harassment.
The thing that strikes me is that nobody who criticizes Anita Hill for her action or lack thereof as Thomas’ employee seems to recognize the position she was in at the time.
He was the Chairman of the EEOC. He was in charge of the federal agency in charge of investigating, punishing, and ultimately reducing sexual harassment. Who was she going to report him to? Himself?
I’m still waiting for Shodan to put up a legitimate cite instead of muttering vaguely about Wiki and making huge leaps in logic about what got her her book contract and how much money she makes.
The part that gets me is that she used to be a professor at the U. of Oklahoma, and now almost twenty years later, she is a professor at Brandeis University, and this somehow is evidence that she’s used Long Dong Silver as a springboard to wealth and renown.
