Not to be a total prat here but…have you by any chance looked at the box top that came with the game? It should have the rules printed on the underside of the boxtop. I’ll have to play just Scrabble once Monopoly is all electronic money :mad:
Perhaps they have changed the design of the box lid - it’s nearly twenty years since I last saw it - but I remember the sequence of play they show as follows:
HORN
FARM using the R from HORN
PASTE at right-angles to FARM making FARMS and PASTE
OB added to the M making MOB, NOT and BE.
Thus:

I heard Scrabble isn’t going to be made with tiles anymore. I can’t imagine how it would work but it just won’t be the same.
