He’d still be in the wrong, though. The proper thing to do is, if you celebrate something else say “happy festivus” or whatever, or else just say “thanks” and go about your day. Giving a lecture to someone just being friendly is assholish whether you then go crazy on them after the lecture or not.

Not everybody is friendly, you know.

Then he got agressive when the flight attendant inside also said “Merry Christmas.” Screaming, ranting, acting scary. It was decided he wasn’t safe to have aboard so security ushered him off the plane.

Sometimes things do have a happy ending!

Well, I for one, don’t care when people wish me a Merry Christmas. There was a time, however, when it irked me, so when a complete stranger said “Marry Christmas” out of the blue…
