I logged onto the chat site per the instructions given…but no one else was there. Could someone please e-mail me (or at least post an answer in this topic) to let me know when is the best time to go to the chat room? Thanks very much.
evenings are the most hopping, but I’ve seen people there at almost any hour. It does empty out once in a while but it isn’t predictable.

Bringing this back up to the top so y’all will see my message. Whoever was in chat today around 2:45 p.m. (CST), I wasn’t ignoring you. It never finished loading and the only time I finally could see what was said was when I pressed DISCONNECT. I’ll try again later.

Scarlet: Just bookmark the TM chat page. Much easier. You can try the java applet or click the link to the non-java version. It works just the same as doing it from this thread, but you don;t have to use this thread.

The SD chat channel can be reached on Undernet-servers as #straightdope. If I’m not mistaken, that is - it’s been a while.
