Has it ever happened that a member here at the SDMB discovered that someone they knew IRL was a poster here and they each discovered the board independently?
A friend who lurks here identified me from my posts and when we met up a while back he asked if I was “Telemark”.
Someone on the board figured out who I was after I went to a Broadway show with a mutual friend and posted about it here. But I didn’t know the other poster beforehand and we’ve never met.
