Anyway, we drive into the parking lot, and there’s cars playing music, people chatting and laughing, it’s a party at the Kroger! We may have a Piggly Wiggly, but I haven’t seen one…
I can understand the addiction part, just not the insults or not learning anything. This place is like a drug. Since finding these forums my life has been different. That’s saying a lot for me because I spend my free time on the computer. But as was mentioned above, where else can you find the content that is here?
I lost my reading week to SDMB, and I had two assigments due in the following week. Now I must ration my veiwing time here. This is my morning, wake up period. Once I get started on my work I’ll allow myself back for another session in the afternoon. Preferablly a nice debate in the GC section to read. Excellent stuff there. Or I’ll search some weird word just to see the odd results and go through those threads.
Interesting place, but one has to watch themself, time becomes irrelevent here.
The first Piggly Wiggly was opened in Memphis. It was the first self-service grocery store. The Pink Palace Museum has a replica of the original Piggly Wiggly store.
The local Piggy Wigglys are more expensive than Kroger and generally not as clean or as nice. I’m not sure why anyone shops there.
