Another year being the points leader and a massive dissapointment. At least I made the playoffs this year…

I have a 14 point lead on Evil Monkey with Nicks and Felix Jones still to play. He has Manningham, Maclin, Foster, and Tynes. Not feeling good about this one at all.
If Hicks does play, it reduces the opportunities for Manningham, but they said Hicks is very iffy and they might only play him a quarter or two.
Varlos has beaten Up By Three.
Garcon’s Cedillia has had an epically bad week. He’s sitting at 35 points with only two players left. He needs McCoy and the Vikings D to make up a 13 point gap, and the output of Eli Manning, Ahmad Bradshaw, and Adrian Peterson… yeah. What a crappy way to go for our league’s 2nd leading scorer (and top seed).
Hamlet has almost definitely won his match against Not Sure.
Was this just a crappy fantasy week in general? Seems like everyones scores are super low.
Poor guy. One loss all year, gets the 1 seed, and has a pretty nice team, and just lays a complete egg in the first round of the playoffs. Ouch.

I’d like my chances if Nicks was healthy, but the rumors were that he might be treated as if it were a preseason game and only play the first quarter or two. That’s certainly not promising.
But Felix Jones had a decent night (and Maclin didn’t), so I’ve got a decent lead.
I have a 29 point lead and Nicks over Evil Monkey’s Manningham, Foster, and Tynes. I guess it’s good that Foster is up against Baltimore’s D. It’s actually a pretty good game here - I’d say he’s about a 60% favorite. What do you guys think?

Well I hope I can make it this week, because my matchups with Hamlet next week is looking pretty nice, and then I get to slaughter Varlos in the championship game.
I can only hope Nicks and Smith are healthy for the entire game, since that helps me twice over - once for the production for Nicks, and once for the lack of opportunities for Manningham.
Our #8 seed, No use for a name II (Retrovertigo), beats our #1 seed Garcon’s Cedillia, 79.85 to 56.6. What a bad week to have an off week after a great season.

This is a total fucking trap game for me. **Beef **is a lock to win his matchup with Hamlet, and I should be a pretty big favorite in my game with the 8-seed Retro, but I swear my whole team, even Brady, is looking past this week. I can see the epic collapse coming…
I almost feel bad for this past weeks win. It would have been one thing if I scored 150 pts., but to beat the #1 seed like this, pisses me as a fantasy fan off.

You see, he’s trying to trick the fantasy gods. He thinks that they will make me lose just to make him look like a dumbass with his lock of a prediction. But he wouldn’t be a dumbass at all, it would be a machiavellian scheme to keep me out of the championship game.
But the football gods may see through this, and make it so that it’s you, and not me, who misses the championship and breaks your prediction.

I just noticed that, on our matchup, Senor Beef has every starter done by the end of the early game today, while I have the majority (all but 2) of my starters playing in the late games, or the night games today or tomorrow. Should be an interesting afternoon.
Not when I have 172 points by the end of the early games.
It’s going to be a close one. I have an 80 point lead on Hamlet, but he has Jennings, Rice, Turner, Forte, Keller, Lynch, Bryant, and the Packers D to play. So he only has to average 10 more points per player than they’ve already scored, which isn’t really a very high mark. He’s probably the favorite.
Varlos has Brady, Roddy White, Royal, Moreno, the Falcons D, and a 17 point lead over Retrovertigo’s Tate, Demaryus Thomas, Adrian Peterson, and Pats D.
So the championship round ends up being the two preseason juggernauts. Of course I lived up to my billing and became the league’s leading scorer, whereas Varlos came in an inglorious 7th.
But still, he made it here and so he gets to finish in second place, which is pretty good for a 20 man league.
Hamlet and RetroVertigo will fight for third.
