It’s because there’s no gold standard! Back when each and every post was backed up by cold, hard gold, you could be sure that there was some basis for all this. Now that they’re just printing up posts willy-nilly, a few disappear here and there, and who can prove it? It’s a disgrace!

By the way, that whole “board was hacked” thing was a filthy lie. They just wanted to establish a temporary board so that we could all post there for a while, and then they STOLE THAT AS WELL, only not piecemeal like they did with the “board crash.” Whole, so it has more value on the black market.

And remember to write your Congressman in opposition to H.F.B. 602P, which would add a ten-cent surcharge to each comment you make here on the SDMB.

I believe that there’s got to be some kind of conflicting interests going on here. I’m not sure what exatly, but I think we need to look into keeping the moderators and the administrators from being involved in the same things, I mean, it can only lead to trouble.
Actually, it’s all a plot by some of us newbies. You think you’re so high and mighty, with your message counts in the thousands, and your “I go back to the days of the old AOL Board.” Now those of us who had to buy the books and wonder about who these Gods of the SDMB were are getting our revenge!!!
