I think Pacheco may not see too much action this season based on the aforementioned depth charts, but he has a real shot to be RB1 for KC one year from now. Longer term play.

He was a late 7th round pick, taken 11 picks before Mr. Irrelevant. That’s not the kind of pedigree I would expect if the Chiefs wanted him to be their #1 next year. He much more seems like a body who stuck around after cuts than an heir apparent to a powerful offense.

Still, they’re all guesses and lottery tickets at this point. Good Luck.

There are a lot of guys I like here, but RBs with a path to significant work are like gold in this league. So I’ll take Hassan Haskins, RB-TEN, since all the RBs I really wanted are gone.

Well, I’ve pretty happy with my draft so far and I don’t have any immediate needs, so I might as well embrace my inner Homer and take a guy I want to root for. Rather than the higher drafted guy who smells of bust to me, I’ll go against my usual thoughts and take the preseason hero.

We’ve still got almost a week to finish this and we’re doing okay, but I’m going to start getting stricter on timing because late round picks don’t matter as much and I want to keep this moving.

@dalej42 has been up for 12 hours although that was overnight. I’m going to say he has 3 more hours to make the pick, otherwise Mundi can make pick 3.01 and so on. If Dale misses his pick he can jump in at any time and make a pick, but not players that were drafted after the pick was skipped. I may not be here in 3 hours, so just go ahead at 1 eastern if it comes to that.

Just out of curiosity I checked our progress. If Omni does get this next pick in the next hour or so, we will have done around 3.7 picks per day, a little under 7 hours per pick. That pace would finish the draft Tuesday morning around 9am.

Also, is pick 4.03 correct? Is that still Justin’s?
