“They appear to be having dinner. Lou seems fine. Unless he’s already been converted to a vampire!” Brian laughs and shakes his head at that.
“Whew,” Kris sighs, then knocks again. “Hello? We’d like to join you guys if you are having such a lovely time! Please?”

Kristopher approaches Dr. Panama’s place and calls out: “Hello? We’d like to join you guys if you are having such a lovely time! Please?”

The vault door to the fourth floor apartment suddenly flies open. Kristopher is taken by surprise, and the door hits him in the face, giving him a bloody nose!Kristopher takes 1 Brownie Point damage.
Kris staggers back, bumping into Brian as Louis stumbles out of the apartment. Louis’ eyes are reddened and he has a strange look to him, as if he’s dazed or under some sort of spell! He stares into space and seems slow to react, almost as if he doesn’t notice his friends at all!
The vault door once more slams shut behind him.
I’m not sure if you noticed or not, but we have another person posting an interest in the game. He appears to be a journalist, and could make a valuable addition to the team. However, it’s also possible that the team feels they have enough members already.

Barring any reason not to, I’m leaning towards having the new character arrive on-scene in the next real-life day or two.
Brian snaps his fingers in Lou’s face, looking for obvious signs of injury or drug use.
"Lou, you ok? Lou?
Come on, lets get out of here for tonight. We can do some research and regroup tomorrow, finish casper off one way or another."
Brian remembers to pick up his video camera, whih ahs no doubt run out of tape, on the way out.
Kris is now pinching his nose in pain. “I agree, let’s get out of here, research the building’s history, and come back tomorrow.”
Lou blinks at Brian. “Holy sheep!”
“Professor, what do you think we should do in terms of research? Go by the Hall of Records and learn the history of the building? Search the tenants names for their histories? I’m stumped on this one and tempted to just wait until 8 PM tomorrow and blast-trap the skinny bastard ghost.”

Responding to Kris, Brian says, yes, we can research all sorts of ways. Contacting the owners may be useful. Don is trying this now. Also we can check the hall of records or library, even the newspapers. If only we had a reseacher in the group!
Lou suddenly ducks and starts waving his hands over his head.
“Lou, what is going on?” Kris tries grabbing Lou’s arms to calm him down.
Brian immediately helps hold Lous arm.
“Lou, what is it? Kris, is there anything i that book about possession?”
“I’ll check.”
Kris lets go briefly to look up possession.
